MEET THAO, OUR ILLUSTRATOR…
She is a mom of a wonderful 3 year old toddler and a lover of boba tea. Thao started out as a biology major in college but went on a long and mostly emotional roller coaster to figure out medicine is not her calling.
Growing up in an immigrant family, art wasn’t and isn’t an ideal field to go into because there’s a stigma regarding this field as having no income. So she felt pressured to pursued medicine to not only make her family proud but also help people. As she continued on her studies and learning more about herself, she decided to study graphic design and ended up with an advertising degree.
Art has led her to an incredible world and made her realized that we can follow any fields we want to follow, as long as we believe.
Galaxy Gals Studio was created because two best friends believing in their dreams, coming together to create magic with the common goal of spreading joy for parents and children all over.
Together we can change the stigma around the art world, motivate children to believe in themselves, and be their best self in whatever fields they decide to follow later on in life.
